JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Heading the Quality Control Department


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Understanding and monitoring company quality standards and processes Superv Supervising the quality control team and making sure the quality standards and processes are followed on a day-to-day basis, Review products, processes, and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.  Repair products if possible that fail quality standards before they are shipped out to the customer; eject products if required. Improve department efficiency by managing backlog inventory to a minimum number of days (under 3 days), Actively participate during customer QC and QA schedules by gathering and sharing feedback regarding product quality. To feed the QA head with quality assurance-related points.


Key Skills


computer, Excel, and excellent verbal and written communication. Data analysis and statistical aptitude; good interpersonal skills

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION


SSC or HSC should have handled a QC team previously
